The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has launched an initiative to gauge the cost of regulatory compliance across the country by hiring survey agencies.
This comprehensive survey aims to improve the ease of doing business by reducing the administrative burden on businesses. Survey agencies will conduct interviews with industry users, intermediaries, and experts across all states and Union Territories.
The department has removed thousands of outdated provisions and introduced systems for faster approvals, reducing compliance burdens. Interested agencies are invited to submit their RFP responses by September 30 on the Government e-Marketplace portal.
