In a bid to attract investments, the government of Andhra Pradesh is receiving a significant push from the US Consulate General in Hyderabad. On Thursday, Consul General Jennifer Larson announced initiatives to boost American firms' access to the state.

Recently, Larson met with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and other ministers to discuss cooperation avenues. 'I had the opportunity to meet various ministers and the CM to explore investment potentials in Andhra Pradesh,' Larson stated, noting that the state is seeking substantial investments.

Highlighting the robust relationship between the US and Andhra Pradesh, Larson pointed out that many US companies in Hyderabad are eyeing the southern state for its business-friendly environment. She also noted the significant number of Indian students from Telugu states studying in the US, emphasizing the strong people-to-people ties.
