Just before its departure, smoke was detected emanating from the wing of a Dubai-bound flight carrying 280 passengers on Tuesday night, causing considerable concern, according to airport officials.
At 9:15 p.m., the flight crew alerted officials, leading to an inspection by technical experts. The smoke ceased within approximately 10 minutes, and fire tenders were dispatched to the scene as a precaution.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the reason for the smoke, causing anxiety among passengers and resulting in a flight delay.
