Tragic Incident at Lok Kalyan Marg Metro Station

A tragic incident unfolded at the Lok Kalyan Marg Metro Station on Monday when a 28-year-old man from Rajasthan allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of an approaching train, according to a police official.
The man, identified as Devendra Kumar from Alwar, Rajasthan, jumped in front of the train at platform number 2 at 5.47 PM. Despite being rushed to RML hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival. Authorities did not find any suicide note on Kumar.
The incident briefly disrupted services on Delhi Metro's yellow line, with operations regulated between Vishwavidyalaya and Qutub Minar until normal service resumed at 6.15 PM. An inquest proceeding is underway, and an investigation has been started to ascertain the reasons behind the extreme step.
