A 23-year-old woman has slipped into a coma following a serious scooter accident in Indore. The vehicle, driven by her husband, crashed into a large pothole on the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) road on September 14, according to police.

The police have charged the husband, identified as Ravi Gaur, with rash driving. The incident raised questions about municipal accountability, prompting authorities to investigate the responsibility for road maintenance.

Madhya Pradesh Congress spokesperson Neelabh Shukla has criticized the police for what he termed an unjust step, demanding departmental action against the officers involved. Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhinay Vishwakarma stated that they would inquire with the municipal corporation to determine which agency is responsible.
