Twelve Injured in Car Overturn on Garhwal Gad Road
Twelve people, including 11 government school teachers, were injured when their car overturned on Garhwal Gad road near Nagthali Choti Mani. The cause of the accident is unknown. Some were seriously injured and referred to advanced facilities, while others received initial treatments at local hospitals.

On Monday morning, a car transporting 11 government school teachers overturned on Garhwal Gad road, injuring all 12 occupants, including the driver. The incident occurred near Nagthali Choti Mani area around 7 am, as the vehicle traveled from Chinyalisaur to Garhwal Gad.
Police reported that a team from Chinyalisaur along with an ambulance promptly responded to the accident site. The injured were initially taken to Chinyalisaur Community Health Centre. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
Two critically injured individuals, Lokendra Painuli and Sandeep Thapliyal, were transferred to another medical facility for further treatment. Four victims—Roshan Lal, Priyavrat Jagudi, Jaidev Painuli, and Mahesh Awasthi—were admitted to Uttarkashi district hospital. The remaining injured, including the driver, were subsequently discharged from the community health centre.
