Anant Raj Cloud Wins 'Best Innovation in Data Center Design' Award

Anant Raj Cloud, a subsidiary of Anant Raj Limited, has won the 'Best Innovation in Data Center Design and Infrastructure' award at the Data Center Innovation Excellence Awards 2024, organized by Express Computer. The event recognized Anant Raj's leadership in cutting-edge data center infrastructure in India.

Anant Raj Cloud, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anant Raj Limited, has been awarded the 'Best Innovation in Data Center Design and Infrastructure' at the Data Center Innovation Excellence Awards 2024. The award ceremony, organized by Express Computer and Indian Express, was held at Hotel Le Meridian, Hyderabad on September 20, 2024.

This prestigious award highlights Anant Raj's leadership in innovative data center infrastructure. Express Computer, a leading IT media brand in India, annually honors excellence in data center innovation and development. In his acceptance speech, Ashim Sarin, Director & Chief Operating Officer of Anant Raj Limited, thanked the Indian Express Group for recognizing their efforts in creating world-class data centers in India.

Sarin noted India's rapid emergence as a growing data center market in the APAC region, driven by digital transformation, cloud adoption, and technologies like 5G and IoT. He highlighted that India's data center market could grow at a CAGR of 18% from 2024 to 2029, with colocation revenue projected to reach USD 4.6 billion by 2029. Despite consuming 30% of the world's data, India currently holds just 3% of global data center capacity, indicating significant future demand.

To meet this growing demand, Anant Raj Cloud is investing over Rs 10,000 crore to develop 307 MW of data center capacity across Manesar, Rai, and Panchkula, with 6 MW already operational and plans to complete 28 MW of IT load by the end of FY25. Additionally, Anant Raj is set to launch 'Ashok Cloud' in collaboration with Orange Business to meet the data storage needs within the GCC space.
