Andhra Pradesh to Create 20 Lakh Jobs Under TDP-Led NDA Government

In a resolute push towards economic development, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh announced on Saturday that creating 20 lakh jobs is the central agenda of the TDP-led NDA government, which won 93% of seats in the 2024 elections.
During a special plenary session of the CII Southern Regional Council for 2024-25, Lokesh reaffirmed the government's commitment to industrial growth and technological advancement. He stressed that meeting the job creation goal is one of the six main promises made before the elections.
Lokesh articulated that Andhra Pradesh aims to swiftly move in the Information Technology sector while maintaining its role as a hub for agriculture and MSMEs. Further, he called for active industry participation in the state's ambitious AI university project and outlined educational reforms from kindergarten to postgraduate levels.
