Bank of Maharashtra Celebrates 90 Years with New Initiatives and Key Milestones

Bank of Maharashtra marked a significant milestone on its 90th Foundation Day, a celebration attended by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, among other key dignitaries. The bank revealed several initiatives aimed at solidifying its industry position and extending its influence.

Central to the celebrations were the bank's business and corporate social responsibility initiatives. The Finance Minister commended the bank's relentless efforts towards MSME support, financial inclusion, and environmental sustainability. She highlighted the bank's commendable financial performance and alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047.

Innovative approaches like a cash flow-based lending model for MSMEs, UPI-based credit solutions, and digital advancements were applauded. The bank also reaffirmed its commitment to social causes, such as supporting the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and promoting gender equality in sports. The MD of Bank of Maharashtra emphasized the bank's aim to be a leading digital and customer-centric institution.
