In a tragic incident on Friday, a truck skidded off the road and plunged into a 250-feet gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, authorities reported.
The accident occurred while the truck was traveling from Doda to Kishtwar, losing control near the Mahlori area. The vehicle veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge, killing both the driver and another passenger instantly.
Police have identified the deceased as Amir, the truck driver, and Asif. An investigation into the accident is currently underway to determine the cause of the tragic mishap.
