China has expressed profound disappointment in the European Commission after the bloc dismissed efforts by electric vehicle manufacturers to negotiate minimum import prices.
According to a statement from the Chinese commerce ministry on Friday, the European Union rejected offers aimed at circumventing significant tariffs.
The ministry spokesperson criticized the lack of in-depth dialogue and suggested the EU disregarded the sincerity of the Chinese industry's attempts to find a flexible solution.
