People Matters, a rapidly growing media platform for HR and talent leaders in India and the APAC region, announced a significant leadership change today following its full acquisition by Mynavi Corporation, one of Japan's largest HR firms. Pushkaraj Bidwai, a founding member and the former Chief Business Officer at People Matters, has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He succeeds Ester Martinez, the Founder & CEO, who has stepped down after 15 successful years to explore personal interests.

This transition signals a new era for People Matters, promising enhanced growth and deeper engagement with the HR community across Asia. With Mynavi Corporation's full backing, the company is well-positioned to serve its vibrant community of over 500,000 HR and talent leaders. The acquisition is expected to catalyze growth, allowing the introduction of new initiatives and an expansion in reach, ultimately strengthening the company's leadership in the industry. Long-term team members will also benefit through the exercise of their ESOP rights, enabling cash out options.

Pushkaraj Bidwai has been pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and extending the People Matters brand globally since 2017. His leadership and vision are set to guide the company into an innovative future, with plans for expansion into new markets. Commenting on his elevation, Bidwai expressed his commitment to building on Martinez's legacy and realizing ambitious plans for market expansion and new initiatives. Ester Martinez, reflecting on her tenure, expressed confidence in Bidwai's ability to guide the company toward continued success.
