In a landmark event, Employability.life and Federation University Australia recently organized the 'I4IC Senior Leadership Workshop' at the Courtyard by Marriott in Colva, Goa. The workshop convened thirty senior academic leaders to explore the theme 'Leveraging Technology in Co-Op Education,' aiming to revolutionize traditional educational frameworks by embedding industry learning into curriculums.

Employability.life, known for its innovative approach in integrating workplace simulations into academic learning, used the I4IC workshop to underscore the importance of aligning education with industry needs. Federation University President Prof. Duncan Bentley emphasized the transformative impact of the XPMC framework in merging real-world work experiences with academic learning. 'Leveraging technology through the XPMC framework allows us to embed real-world work experiences into the learning journey of every student,' Bentley stated.

Dr Manish Malhotra of Employability.life highlighted the framework's role in preparing students not just for their initial jobs but for sustained career success. Carolyn Chong, Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Federation University, stressed the global implications, noting, 'Integrating the XPMC framework into cooperative education models is the way forward.'

The event also brought attention to the urgent demand for experiential digital skill training in India. Raja Dasgupta of Employability.life pointed out that their collaboration aims to bridge the digital skills gap, essential for the nation's economic future. Employability.life's Global Gateway certificate courses offer students the chance to gain credit exemptions for Federation University's Co-Op Degree courses, further solidifying the partnership's commitment to enhancing employability globally.
