DSV Acquires Schenker for €14.3B, Becomes Global Freight Leader

In a groundbreaking move, Denmark's DSV has inked a €14.3 billion ($15.85 billion) agreement to acquire Schenker, the logistics arm of Germany's state rail operator Deutsche Bahn.
This acquisition is poised to make DSV the largest freight forwarder globally, heralding a transformative era for the company in the global transport and logistics industry.
According to brokerage Sydbank, the deal, the most expensive ever for a Danish firm, will surpass Swiss rival Kuehne und Nagel in both volume and revenue.
