This growth is from 7.278% to 9.298% over the period from December 16, 2022, to September 11, 2024, via open market purchases. Shares of LIC saw a 1.81% increase.

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has significantly increased its holdings in the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to about 9.3%.
According to a regulatory filing, LIC's stake in the railway sector 'miniratna' PSU rose by 2.02% between December 16, 2022, and September 11, 2024, achieved through open market purchases.
This strategic expansion in ownership saw LIC's shares closing at Rs 1031.45, marking a 1.81% rise over the previous BSE close.
