In a recent regulatory filing, Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Steel announced that its consolidated crude steel output in August saw a marginal increase of one percent, reaching 23.16 lakh tonnes (LT).

Compared to 22.86 LT in the same period last year, this modest growth highlights JSW Steel's sustained production capabilities.

The company's Indian operations contributed significantly, producing 22.49 LT of steel—a two percent increase from the previous year—with a capacity utilization rate of 91 percent. However, its Ohio-based JSW Steel USA reported a slight dip, producing 0.67 LT compared to 0.71 LT last August.
