On a warm afternoon in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the children of Madhurmayee Adarsha Siksha Niketan Orphanage eagerly awaited a charity event that promised more than just material support. The event, organized by the International Youth Development Fund (IYDF) and SP DESIGNS, aimed to bring love and hope to the 42 underprivileged children.

The event was meticulously planned by a team of 10 dedicated volunteers, including Suman Mayuri, Milan Mayuri, Srusti Adyasa, Aayush Anmol, Sai Krishna, Reshma Priyadarshini, Kartikeswara Padhi, Rituparna Moharana, Kartika Samal, and Swapnil Qoomar. They provided essential living and educational supplies, such as Toor dal, cooking oil, wheat flour, Sattu, bath soap, notebooks, and sports equipment like cricket bats and footballs.

The interaction between the volunteers and children was the event's highlight, with cricket matches, singing contests, and dance performances filling the orphanage with laughter. Samarjit Panigrahi of SP DESIGNS emphasized the importance of emotional connection, while orphanage manager Swarnam Rituparna Bal praised the efforts for significantly improving the children's lives.
