New Connectivity Boost: Coastal Road Links Directly to Bandra-Worli Sea Link

Starting Friday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has confirmed that northbound vehicles on the Coastal Road in Mumbai can directly access the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
The Coastal Road, a project valued at approximately Rs 14,000 crore, aims to streamline travel between south Mumbai and the suburbs by providing a direct connection to the sea link, significantly reducing travel time.
Officials have announced that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, along with deputies Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, will inspect the new connection on Thursday before its official opening on Friday. Initially, only northbound vehicles can use the link between 7 am and 11 pm, while southbound vehicles will continue using existing routes until further connections are established.
