Bengal Global Business Summit and Mega Shopping Festival Announced

The Bengal Global Business Summit is set for February 5-6 next year. Additionally, a five-day international shopping festival will occur from September 20-24 at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate the festival, as per an official announcement following a meeting attended by key business leaders.

The upcoming edition of the Bengal Global Business Summit is scheduled for February 5 and 6 next year, according to an official statement released on Wednesday.

The state government will also host a five-day international shopping festival at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre from September 20, with the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee set to inaugurate the event.

A Dubai-style mega festival will be part of the shopping event from September 20-24. The announcement followed a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Banerjee, attended by several prominent businessmen such as Sanjay Budhia, Umesh Chowdhury, CK Dhanuka, and Sushil Mohta.

Representatives from the Bengal Chamber of Commerce, the Indian Chamber of Commerce, and other state and district-level merchant bodies were also present.
