The government on Wednesday launched the Trade Connect ePlatform, designed to serve as a one-stop solution for exporters seeking global trade opportunities and compliance information.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced that the platform will provide detailed insights on international demand, trade conditions, and link exporters with international buyers, thereby mitigating information asymmetry.

The platform is developed in collaboration with entities such as the Ministry of MSME, EXIM Bank, TCS, DFS, and MEA. It is set to regularly update and improve based on user feedback, with a second version anticipated in 2025 that will include banking, insurance, and logistics services.
