In his video address, Gadkari recognized the pivotal role automotive dealers play in achieving the government's vision of a self-reliant India. He assured continued support from the government to the auto retail sector.

The minister highlighted the significant contributions of the auto retail sector to the Indian economy, noting its annual revenue of around Rs 40,000 crore and its substantial tax contributions. Gadkari emphasized the industry's broader influence on sectors like finance and insurance, aligning with the government's sustainability goals.
