NEW DELHI [India], September 11: The International Youth Development Fund (IYDF), in collaboration with Print Arena Gifting and Garments Printing, held a charitable event on September 8, 2024, at Sweet Home Girls Ashram near Najafgarh Metro Station in Delhi. The initiative aimed at delivering essential supplies and creating joyous moments for the 30 resident children through interactive activities.

Led by Nitin Singh, the event garnered significant support from volunteers Usha Tanwar, Priya Tanwar, Sheetal Tanwar, Shiv Beniwal, and Sakshi Rukhar. These volunteers provided crucial supplies and engaged the children in a meaningful and enjoyable afternoon filled with various activities. The charity event focused on supporting the children's daily needs.

The volunteers brought an array of items including groceries, stationery, toys, cooking oil, detergent, colored paper, footwear, sweets, snacks, and slippers to aid the children's daily and educational requirements. Leaders of the Ashram, Khusboo Kumari and Avinash Jain, expressed heartfelt gratitude towards IYDF and Print Arena for their generous contributions. They highlighted how the donations have significantly eased the orphanage's material challenges and enhanced living conditions for the children.

Besides the donations, the event featured activities like a drawing competition, poetry recital, and various games, enabling the children to display their creativity and bond with the volunteers. This aspect of the event provided the children with a sense of community support and care.

Nitin Singh reflected on the event, stating, 'Seeing the smiles and joy on the children's faces filled me with happiness. I am deeply thankful to IYDF for the opportunity to help these children.' Other volunteers shared similar sentiments, emphasizing the fulfillment derived from contributing to society and supporting vulnerable groups. The success of this event underscores IYDF's commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at assisting disadvantaged children. Moving forward, IYDF plans to continue organizing similar initiatives to bring warmth and hope to more children in need.
