Rolls-Royce, Karimjee Group Partner to Deliver Advanced Power Solutions in Tanzania

Leveraging Karimjee Group's market expertise and distribution network, Rolls-Royce will offer its full mtu product portfolio, focusing on power generation systems.

Rolls-Royce, through its Power Systems division, has announced a strategic partnership with the Karimjee Group, a prominent East African conglomerate, to deliver cutting-edge mtu power solutions across Tanzania. This collaboration aims to enhance the country’s energy infrastructure, support sustainable development, and stimulate industrial growth.

Leveraging Karimjee Group's market expertise and distribution network, Rolls-Royce will offer its full mtu product portfolio, focusing on power generation systems. Known for high-performance propulsion and power generation solutions, the mtu range includes diesel, gas, and battery systems designed for mission-critical, standby, and continuous power applications, as well as microgrids. These solutions are ideal for Tanzania’s industrial demands.

Rolls-Royce's mtu engines are recognized for their low emissions and high efficiency, operating on a variety of fuels such as hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), biodiesel, synthetic diesel, natural gas, and biogas. This aligns with Tanzania’s goals of reducing carbon emissions while promoting economic development.
