A tragic accident occurred in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district early Tuesday, as a private bus traveling from Delhi to Lakhimpur Kheri crashed into a tree, killing a 32-year-old man and injuring 13 others, police reported.
The incident happened near Fatehganj West when the driver of the double-decker bus lost control and collided with a tree, according to local authorities.
Additional Superintendent of Police (North) Mukesh Chandra Mishra stated that the injured were promptly admitted to the district hospital. The deceased, Ghanshyam, was a resident of Lakhimpur Kheri working in Ghaziabad. Investigations are ongoing to determine if the bus had a valid permit.
