New Air India Express Flight Connects Kerala to Riyadh
Air India Express has commenced a new flight service from Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The service, initiated as a Onam gift, will operate every Monday. The initiative aims to benefit expatriates from Kerala and Tamil Nadu working in Saudi Arabia.

Air India Express has introduced a new flight service connecting Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a move that has been long awaited by expatriates. This development was announced by the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Ltd (TIAL) on Tuesday.
The inaugural flight took off on September 9, aligning with the Onam festival, and promises to be a significant boon for expatriates from Kerala and Tamil Nadu working in Saudi Arabia. Flight IX 521 will depart Thiruvananthapuram every Monday at 7.55 PM and arrive in Riyadh by 10.40 PM.
The return flight, IX 522, will leave Riyadh the same night at 11.20 PM, reaching Kerala by 7.30 AM on Tuesday. This move is expected to complement the existing direct service to Dammam from Thiruvananthapuram.
