A training helicopter of the Indian Air Force (IAF) made an emergency landing on a paddy field near Porpandal due to a technical snag, police reported on Monday.

The helicopter, manned by two personnel, encountered a sudden malfunction when it reached the Porpandal area within the Salavakkam police station jurisdiction. Consequently, the pilot executed an emergency landing in a paddy field.
