The Magadh Express from New Delhi to Islampur encountered a critical issue when its coupling broke, splitting the train into two segments between Twiniganj and Raghunathpur railway stations in Bihar's Buxar district, officials confirmed.

The incident, which occurred around 11:08 am on Sunday, did not result in any injuries. Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of East Central Railway, Sharswati Chandra, informed PTI that the train's 13th coach detached from the 14th coach, causing operational disruptions.

A rescue team and technical experts have arrived on the scene to address the issue, and efforts are underway to restore train traffic, which has been temporarily affected. An inquiry will be launched to investigate the exact cause of the incident.
