Hyundai Motor India Introduces Two New EXTER Variants
Hyundai Motor India has launched two new variants of its popular entry-level SUV, EXTER, priced at Rs 7,86,300 and Rs 8,43,900. These variants feature advanced amenities and safety components. Despite introducing new models, the company saw a 12% year-on-year sales decline in August.

Automobile giant Hyundai Motor India has unveiled two new variants of its popular entry-level sports utility vehicle, EXTER, the company announced on Friday.
The S(O)+ variant, featuring manual transmission, is priced at Rs 7,86,300 (ex-showroom), while the automated manual transmission (AMT) S+ variant is listed at Rs 8,43,900 (ex-showroom).
Notable features of the new variants include a smart electric sunroof, a digital cluster with a Colour TFT multi-information display, an 8'' touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and rear air-conditioner vents, among other amenities.
According to a company statement, the new EXTER variants are equipped with six airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, a tyre-pressure monitoring system, and Electronic Stability Control, among other safety measures.
Hyundai Motor India also reported a 12% year-on-year decline in sales in August, with 63,175 units sold compared to 71,435 units sold in the same month last year.
