Amazon Global Selling Set to Surpass USD 13 Billion in Exports by End of 2024

Amazon Global Selling, the export program of Amazon, is projected to exceed USD 13 billion in total e-commerce exports from India by the end of 2024 and aims to reach USD 20 billion by 2025. The program has helped over 1.50 lakh sellers export more than 40 crore Made in India products globally.

Amazon Global Selling, the exports programme of the e-commerce giant, is on track to surpass USD 13 billion in cumulative e-commerce exports from India by the close of 2024 and is set to meet its USD 20 billion target by 2025, a senior official disclosed on Thursday.

In an exclusive interview with PTI, Amazon India Director of Global Trade Bhupen Wakankar revealed that since its establishment in 2015, the exports programme has facilitated the sale of over 40 crore Made in India products to a global customer base.

"When we launched," Wakankar noted, "we committed to a target of USD 10 billion in cumulative exports from SMBs by 2025. By 2020, we doubled that pledge to USD 20 billion by 2025. We're pleased to announce that we will have achieved USD 13 billion by the close of 2024, and are on course to hit our USD 20 billion target by 2025."
