Congress MP Shashi Tharoor enthralled an audience in Kolkata on Sunday with his latest book, 'A Wonderland of Words: Around the Word in 101 Essays'. The event, held at a local hotel, showcased Tharoor's signature wit and wisdom, uplifting the spirits of bibliophiles present.

The event also saw the inauguration of Prabha Khaitan Foundation's book rack at the Taj City Centre New Town. Tharoor, a long-time supporter of the foundation, praised its efforts in promoting the book-reading culture despite the distractions of modern technology.

Among the attendees were industrialist Harshvardhan Neotia and other notable personalities. Tharoor emphasized that his new book, published by Aleph Book Company, deviates from his usual political writings and is meant to be both entertaining and educational.
