Ultra-luxury homes priced over Rs 40 crore saw brisk sales in major Indian cities till August 2024, recording a total of 25 units sold for Rs 2,443 crore, as per data from real estate consultant Anarock.

In Mumbai, Hyderabad, Gurugram, and Bengaluru, 25 high-end properties were snapped up during the first eight months of the year, with Mumbai leading with 21 sales valued at Rs 2,200 crore. Smaller numbers of sales were reported in Hyderabad, Gurugram, and Bengaluru, while Pune, Chennai, and Kolkata saw no transactions in this price bracket.

With the festive season quarter ongoing, real estate experts anticipate a further uptick in sales of ultra-luxury homes before the year concludes.
