The 610th meeting of the Central Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) convened on Wednesday in Mumbai, led by Governor Shaktikanta Das. The board assessed the global and domestic economic outlook, and the associated challenges, as per a statement from the central bank.

In addition to economic reviews, the Board evaluated various operational areas of the Reserve Bank of India. This included the functioning of Local Boards and the activities of select Central Office Departments. Among the attendees were Deputy Governors Michael Debabrata Patra, M Rajeshwar Rao, and T Rabi Sankar, alongside Directors Satish K Marathe, Revathy Iyer, Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Venu Srinivasan, Pankaj Ramanbhai Patel, and Ravindra H Dholakia.

The meeting also saw participation from Ajay Seth, Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, and Nagaraju Maddirala, Secretary, Department of Financial Services. (ANI)
