Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Reports 9% Increase in Domestic Wholesales for August

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) reported a 9% rise in domestic wholesales, reaching 4,91,678 units in August. Exports grew to 47,174 units from 26,390 units in the same period last year. Total sales hit 5,38,852 units compared to 4,77,590 units in August of the previous year.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced a 9 percent year-on-year increase in domestic wholesales, achieving 4,91,678 units in August 2024. This is up from the 4,51,200 units dispatched to dealers in August of the previous year.

Accompanying the rise in domestic sales, export numbers also saw a significant boost. The company exported 47,174 units last month, a sharp rise from 26,390 units in August 2023, HMSI stated in an official release.

The overall sales for HMSI in August 2024 amounted to 5,38,852 units, showing a substantial uplift from 4,77,590 units during the same month of last year.
