Heartwarming Charity Event Brightens Lives at Mattanchery Orphanage

The International Youth Development Foundation, in partnership with Hans Cosmos Yoga, organized a charity event for children at Mattanchery Muslim Orphanage, providing essential supplies and engaging activities. Led by Yogini Neetu, the event brought joy, care, and warmth to 33 children, highlighting societal support for vulnerable groups.

On August 29, 2024, from 6:45 to 8:30 PM, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) teamed up with Hans Cosmos Yoga for a heartfelt charity event at the Mattanchery Muslim Orphanage in Ernakulam, Kerala. The event benefitted 33 children by providing essential supplies and a joyful environment filled with interactive activities.

The event was spearheaded by Yogini Neetu, with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers including Rain Fernandez, Aditya Mallaya, Firoz, Mohammed Ali, Oliwia, Natalia, Reenesh, Aneesh, Sadath, Manaf, and Shiji. Their selfless efforts were pivotal in making the gathering a memorable one.

Hans Cosmos Yoga generously donated a variety of items such as bath towels, educational games, sports equipment, dried fruits, fresh fruits, and snack items. These contributions not only met the children's basic needs but also enriched their recreational activities.

The children participated in yoga sessions, music, singing, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises. These activities allowed them to relax while receiving care and love.

Organizer Yogini Neetu said, "This was my first time teaching at an orphanage. It's important to provide opportunities for these children, who are often deprived of learning and developmental experiences. The event brought happiness and a sense of family to these children."

This event highlighted societal care for vulnerable groups. Both IYDF and Hans Cosmos Yoga plan to continue their collaboration to bring hope and opportunities to more children in need, furthering societal progress.
