Several trains operating under the South Western Railway (SWR) jurisdiction were canceled on Monday due to heavy rain and subsequent waterlogging on multiple tracks. The East Central Railway (ECR) announced the cancellations in response to adverse weather conditions.

According to a statement from Sharswati Chandra, Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) of ECR, affected services include the cancellation of the Sangha Mitra Express (Danapur to Bengaluru-12296) and the Danapur-Bengaluru special train (06510) originally scheduled to depart on September 4.

In addition, two more trains, the Bengaluru-Danapur (12295) and the Bengaluru-Danapur special (06509), have also been canceled following track breaches caused by heavy rains at Rayanapadu railway station in the SWR, added the CPRO.
