Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw unveiled the prototype for the Vande Bharat sleeper coach at BEML's facility on Sunday.

In his address to reporters, Vaishnaw stated that the coach would undergo rigorous testing for the next ten days before being rolled out on track for further evaluation and is expected to be operational within three months.

Following successful trials, mass production is anticipated to start in one and a half years, with two to three trains rolling out monthly.
