Seven people, including a six-year-old and 16-year-old, were killed in a tragic bus accident east of Vicksburg, Mississippi, early Saturday, according to Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey. The young victims were siblings.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred around 12:40 a.m. on Interstate 20 near Bovina. The 2018 Volvo commercial passenger bus, traveling westbound, left the roadway and overturned, leading to the deaths and injuries. Thirty-seven passengers were transported to various hospitals with undisclosed injuries. The bus's co-driver was not transported.
