The 11th India Association Congress, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, began on Saturday with an energetic opening. The event attracted over 200 association leaders from across the country, setting a significant milestone in promoting collaboration and innovation among industry associations.
An official statement highlighted Mumbai's potential as a premier destination for global conferences. The inaugural day featured the introduction of five distinguished association leaders, appointed as conference ambassadors for their expertise and contributions. These ambassadors will play a critical role in positioning Mumbai as a world-class hub for international gatherings.
The introduction ceremony occurred in the presence of notable dignitaries such as Suman Billa, IAS, Additional Secretary of Tourism for the Government of India, and Senthil Gopinath, CEO of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).
