India and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Public Sector Auditing Ties
The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) and the General Court of Audit of Saudi Arabia have signed an MoU to enhance cooperation in public sector auditing. The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has inked a pact with the General Court of Audit, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a significant move to bolster cooperation and expertise exchange in public sector auditing.
This collaboration will include joint training programs focusing on financial, performance, and compliance audits, along with the exchange of audit manuals and methodologies.
Signed in Riyadh, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to strengthen bilateral relationships and foster knowledge sharing between the two Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs).
