Union Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal, called for unified support from the Indian industry to establish a strong manufacturing hub in the country. Speaking at the India Manufacturing Leadership Forum: Viksit Bharat - Operationalising Make in India for the World, organized by FICCI, Goyal emphasized the importance of branding India through collective efforts.

The minister stressed the necessity for partnerships within the industry, urging domestic companies to collaborate not just with international players but among themselves as well. 'An Indian company buying products from another Indian company helps create a sustainable ecosystem, shielding it from disruptions,' he noted, referring to current global uncertainties such as the Red Sea crisis.

Highlighting the need to boost manufacturing capacity, Goyal called on the industry to make India an attractive manufacturing destination. 'Our manufacturers will drive the story of a developed India,' he proclaimed. Goyal also underscored the government's work on easing business operations while seeking industry input to improve further. He appealed for collaboration to enhance overall ease of doing business in the country.
