Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Maharashtra on Friday to address the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2024 and lay the foundation stone for the Vadhvan Port project in Palghar, valued at around Rs 76,000 crore, according to his office.

Modi's address at GFF 2024 will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai at 11 am. Following that, at approximately 1:30 pm, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects at CIDCO ground, Palghar, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) stated.

The Vadhvan Port aims to establish a world-class maritime gateway, improving the country's trade capabilities by handling large container vessels and ultra-large cargo ships.
