Adani Group Unveils Major Investments in Madhya Pradesh, Plans Cement Unit and Propellant Facility

The Adani Group, led by CEO Karan Adani, has announced plans to establish a 2 million tonne per annum cement grinding unit in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. The group will also develop a state-of-the-art propellant production facility in Shivpuri.
Karan Adani stated that the Shivpuri unit aligns with the Aatmanirbharta mission, aiming to transform India from a defense importer to an exporter. These projects, with investments totaling Rs 3,500 crore, are expected to generate over 3,500 direct and indirect jobs.
Addressing the 2024 Regional Industrial Conclave in Gwalior, Adani emphasized the transformative period of growth India is undergoing. He praised Madhya Pradesh's economic development under Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and highlighted the conglomerate's commitment to national and state development. Adani Group has already invested Rs 18,250 crore in Madhya Pradesh, creating 12,000 jobs across various sectors.
Adani also noted Gwalior's emergence as a tourism hotspot, talent pool, and trade hub. He announced that the Adani Foundation will set up a women-run jacket production center in Badarwas, impacting 80,000 households and benefitting 3 lakh lives through various initiatives.
