At least 29 people lost their lives in a tragic bus accident in Pakistan's Punjab province on Sunday, according to a media report.
The passenger bus, carrying 30 individuals, was en route from Haveli Kahuta to Rawalpindi when it plunged into a ditch near Pana Bridge. The cause of the incident, which occurred in a treacherous mountainous area, remains undetermined, sources told Geo News.
Local residents have started retrieving bodies from the site, while police and rescue teams are rushing to the scene. Kahuta, a tehsil in the Rawalpindi district, is located an hour away from the city.
