Top Indian ministers, including Nirmala Sitharaman and Piyush Goyal, are set to engage in discussions at the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) on Monday. The meeting aims to enhance the trade and economic relationship between the two nations.
The Indian Commerce and Industry Ministry announced on Sunday that the ISMR will take place in Singapore on August 26, with the second such meeting following its inaugural session in New Delhi in September 2022.
During the talks, Minister Piyush Goyal will meet with influential global business leaders from entities like DBS Bank and Temasek Holdings to explore strategies to increase bilateral trade and investment, leveraging India's rapid economic growth. Other participating ministers include Nirmala Sitharaman, S. Jaishankar, and Ashwini Vaishnaw.
