Tragic Bus Accident in Nepal Claims Lives of 27 Indian Pilgrims

A tragic bus accident in Nepal resulted in the deaths of 27 Indian pilgrims from Maharashtra. The post-mortem examinations are being conducted, and the bodies will be transported to Nashik today. The accident occurred when the bus veered off the highway along the Marsyangdi River.

A post-mortem for the 27 Indian pilgrims who perished in a tragic bus accident in Nepal is taking place in a hospital in Bagmati province, preparing for their transport back to Maharashtra.

The victims, all from Maharashtra, were on a 10-day tour in Nepal when their bus veered off the highway, plunging into the Marsyangdi River in central Nepal. Sixteen others were injured in the accident.

The Indian Air Force will airlift the bodies to Nashik. The bus was traveling from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh to Kathmandu, and fell 150 meters down a hilly road at the accident site, located around 90 km west of Kathmandu.
