Jagdeep Dhankhar to Inaugurate 19th CII India Africa Business Conclave
Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, will inaugurate the 19th CII India Africa Business Conclave themed 'Creating One Future,' from August 20-22 in New Delhi. The event aims to strengthen India-Africa relations and will host six African heads of state and over 1,100 international delegates.

Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice President of the Republic of India, is set to inaugurate the 19th CII India Africa Business Conclave, themed 'Creating One Future,' on August 21. The conclave will be held in New Delhi from August 20 to 22, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. This event marks a significant milestone in the enhancement of India-Africa relations.
Attendance at the Conclave will include six African heads of state, illustrating the importance of the event in fostering India-Africa ties. Among the distinguished guests will be Vice Presidents from Burundi, Equatorial Guinea, The Gambia, Liberia, Mauritius, and Zimbabwe. Notably, Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, will address a specialized plenary session with African trade ministers, laying the groundwork for new pathways in trade and economic cooperation.
The Conclave is expected to attract over 1,100 international delegates, representing 65 countries, including 47 from the African continent. With 52 senior African ministers participating, the event underscores the commitment to strengthening collaborations in diverse sectors such as trade, investment, infrastructure, healthcare, and technology. The event will feature an exhibition with over 56 exhibitors and 600 B2B meetings, providing ample opportunities for business engagement and partnership exploration. High-level plenary sessions, sectoral roundtables, and extensive networking opportunities will set the stage for future growth and development across India and Africa.
