The iconic motorcycle brand BSA, owned by Mahindra Group, has debuted in India with the launch of its 652-cc Gold Star 650 model, starting at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

One of the world's oldest motorcycle companies, Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA), was acquired by Mahindra's premium motorcycles arm, Classic Legends, in 2016. Classic Legends already markets Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles in India.

The BSA Gold Star 650, which made its UK comeback in 2021, is also sold in Europe, Turkey, New Zealand, and the Philippines. The latest model will take on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, priced at Rs 3.03 lakh, positioning itself strongly in the 650cc segment.
