Climate activists have once again disrupted air traffic in Germany, with two airports suspending flights on Thursday morning following breaches at the airfields. The protest, coordinated by the Last Generation campaign, targets a total of four airports including Berlin, Cologne-Bonn, Nuremberg, and Stuttgart.

At Nuremberg airport, flights were suspended indefinitely as of 0342 GMT, while Cologne-Bonn airport also halted operations, citing 'unauthorized persons.' Although Berlin Airport reported no impact on flights, police had to remove two protesters who had cut through a fence to access the airfield.

The Last Generation campaign is pushing for a global agreement to phase out oil, gas, and coal by 2030, and has planned more disruptions across Europe and North America. The protest has sparked new demands from German politicians for enhanced airport security following recent breaches.
