Three M Paper Boards to Boost Capacity by 25% Amid Growing Global Demand

With growing demand for their eco-friendly products, the company aims to enhance its current 72,000 TPA capacity using recycled materials for various packaging industries. Three M Paper Boards Ltd, headquartered in Mumbai, is aiming to expand its production capacity by 25% to meet the rising demand for its products both domestically and internationally. The company plans to acquire a Plastic-Fired Low-Pressure Boiler, which will utilize waste plastic for power generation and significantly reduce power costs.
According to Managing Director Rushabh H. Shah, the expansion is expected to be completed within two years and will be financed through available funds and internal accruals. The company specializes in producing eco-friendly Coated Duplex Boards from 100% recycled waste paper imported from the U.S. and Europe, used across multiple packaging sectors.
Established in 1989, Three M Paper Boards Ltd. operates an extensive manufacturing facility in Chiplun, Maharashtra. The facility, which spans over 30 acres, has a current capacity of 72,000 tons per annum along with a 4 MW captive power plant. The company has also reported strong financial growth, with revenues of Rs 272.23 crore and a net profit rise of 170% for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024.
