The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has ranked Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) 4th among Indian universities in 2023, highlighting its continuous commitment to educational excellence. This marks a significant rise from its 6th position last year.

In the overall India Rankings, MAHE stands at 14th among the top 20 universities. Notable achievements include Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal securing 2nd position in the dental category, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences ranking 8th in pharmacy, and Kasturba Medical College standing at 9th in the medical category. This achievement underscores MAHE's strength across various disciplines.

Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, Vice-Chancellor of MAHE, expressed his pride in the institution's consistent performance, emphasizing the collective efforts of staff, teachers, and students. Dr. HS Ballal, Pro-Chancellor of MAHE, highlighted the institution's commitment to academic rigor and innovation.
